A story of land and heritage at the foot of the Luberon
Formerly known as Mas d’El Bòchi, La Ferme de la Folie was originally a family farm, rooted in the land and Provençal culture.
Since the end of the 19th century, this Provençal farm has lived to the rhythm of the seasons and generations. It once raised silkworms and kept a small menagerie: a cow, a few goats, rabbits, hens… and above all a proud billy-goat that wandered the village for mating and gave the estate its name.
In the 1980s the farm experienced a new lease of life with Dominique Florent. He named it La Folie, in tribute to the spring that runs through the estate and to the poet René Char, who came here to dream, accompanied by the painters and artists of his time. On its grounds the owner created a small, simple and welcoming farm campsite, where you sleep beneath the trees as if in a dream.
